Welcome to Relaxed Spider
Choose one suit, two suits or four suits using the game controls. Relaxed Spider on xzzcgs.com permits stock deals while columns are empty. The objective remains eight complete same-suit King-to-Ace runs. The game still uses 104 cards in ten columns.
Deal into empty columns
The relaxed stock rule does not change the rank requirement for ordinary moves. An empty column no longer prevents a stock deal in this variant. A stock card dealt to an empty column becomes that column's first face-up card. The relaxed stock rule does not allow mixed-suit groups to move together.
Ten columns and a stock
Here are the details for this mode. Only the bottom card of each opening column is face up. The opening tableau contains 54 cards. The stock contains fifty cards for five later deals. The first four columns have six cards each and the remaining six have five.
Move a single card
The following details apply here. An exposed card may land on another exposed card exactly one rank higher. An Ace cannot receive a lower-ranked card. A King needs an empty destination because no rank is higher. The two cards do not need to share a suit for a single-card placement.
Follow one suit
Keep these points in mind. A break in rank prevents the entire selected group from moving together. A suit change can leave a smaller movable group at the bottom of a column. A descending group moves as a unit only when every selected card shares a suit. Same-suit building can reduce the work needed to separate mixed sequences later.
Use empty columns thoughtfully
Keep these points in mind. Empty columns remain useful for separating temporary mixed builds. Any exposed card or legal same-suit group can occupy an empty column. You may preserve an empty column until you decide to deal from the stock. A new stock row fills every empty column with one card.
Bring in another row
A few details help explain this feature. Dealing can block an existing sequence as well as reveal new combinations. You cannot direct an individual stock card to a chosen destination. A stock deal places one card onto each of the ten columns. Undo restores the previous arrangement when the stock-deal snapshot is available.
Clear the table
A few details help explain this feature. A complete run contains thirteen face-up cards in one suit from King to Ace. Eight collected runs are required to finish Relaxed Spider. The game removes a complete run automatically at the bottom of a column. Changing the number of suits does not change the number of required runs.
Try another decision
Replay restores the same shuffle for another attempt. Hints identify legal options without guaranteeing a win. New game creates a fresh shuffle in the selected suit setting. Random relaxed deals are not presented as guaranteed solvable.
